SUMMARY:TRAC Live Day
DESCRIPTION:Hi there everyone\, \nOn Sunday 9th February we have our annual TRAC Live day! Come and pay us a visit and see what we have all been up to. The members have been working hard to improve and add to the model trains and other models and are keen to show the community the progress that has been made in the last 12 months. A great outing for young and old – several model trains and the model sawmill will be running\, as well as static displays of a steam crane\, cars\, trucks\, tractors and farm machinery. There is a small model train which the children can operate. We also have a fantastic collection of photographs and newspaper clippings if you want to catch up on a bit of the district’s history. \nThe McLaren Steam Roller will also be operating. \nWe are situated at the old Goods Shed\, 9 Bell Road\, Taumarunui (there will be signs posted at each end of Bell Road)\, and will be open from 10am to 3pm\, entry by gold coin donation. There’s plenty of parking so come on down and bring family and friends for a fun\, interesting and informative day! \nFor more information\, please contact Annette 027 321 8825.
