Meet the Candidates – General Election 2026

Enterprising Taumarunui Inc. invites the community to an evening of conversation with candidates and party representatives ahead of the 2026 General Election.

This event provides an opportunity for residents of Taumarunui and the wider King Country to hear directly from those seeking to represent our communities in Parliament.

Hear from candidates and party representatives as they share their perspectives, priorities and aspirations for our region and Aotearoa New Zealand. There will also be an opportunity for questions from the floor, giving community members the chance to raise the issues that matter to them.

Whether you’re interested in local development, healthcare, education, infrastructure, the economy or the future of our communities, we encourage you to come along, listen and take part in the conversation.
